No GIF,JPEG .....

Loading sites (explorer6, win 98se) doesn't work out nicely, coz most gifs, jpeg wont show. I get that little red cross in it's place. Reloading the site sometimes helps, but just partial. How can i fix this?

Have you emptied your Temporary Internet Cache yet?

Another thing that could be causing you problems with some websites is a software firewall, some websites say that they monitor crap you do to ensure that their bandwidth isn't being used by something or other, I forget. But try disabling your software firewall and see if that helps them little thumbnails to load.

I know this is sort of pursuing the hell out of the obvious, but you don't have IE (from Control Panel, Internet Options, advanced) set to "disable pictures".....do you??? :rolleyes:
