Help with PSC 604 Soundcard

I bought a psc 604, i put it in the slot connected it to my cdrom.
I went into BIOS and disabled my onboard sound. When i try to install the driver it says that the soundcard hasnt been installed.

Did you uninstall the drivers for the original sound?

Try removing the card and placing it further away from the AGP slot ensuring it is tightly seated .
