i dont know what is wrong with my computer right now. well ill start off on how it happened. I was playing madden04 and my msi ti4200 was overclocked to 300/594 and i started noticing some image problems so i lowered the frequency and when i went back into the game it crashed. i rebooted and it went to the "bad shutdown screen" and i let it check the drive for errors, it went all the way to 100% and finished but then it never moved from there. from there, the screen got all messed up and pixelated so i reseted and the power light comes on, the motherboard power light is on, the HD light is on but nothing happens. it just hangs right from the get go. no boot screen either. i thought it was the video card but it works perfectly on my other computer and its all on the same monitor. then i thought it was the motherboard, i got a new one, an albatron 865pe pro but it still doesnt work. i then thought it was the ram and let my friend test it, but the rams works perfectly. could it be the cpu? or the power supply? i doubt its the power supply becuz all the power lights turn on on the mother board and all the drives get power. any help is appreciated.

Is there any POST beep? That gives a good indication of what's wrong. Sometimes. It can be the PSU, not giving ALL the voltages. Or the CPU, overclocking is a great way of killing it.

When everything is on, what color is the light on your monitor?

the light is orange when i turn it on, it usually is green like when im using it right now. im going to test the cpu at my friends house and see if it is burnt out or not. and i never overclock the cpu, just the gpu on the video card.

I've had flaked out power supplies do this. It's weird they'll still act like their working, but no dice.
Replace that sucker IMHO.

You said the video card was overclocked? could be it had enough of your demonic clocking and decided to go into permanent sleep mode. :P
