I'm currently using Windows XP Pro with the following setup:
VPN server (the one built into XP)
Linksys NIC with WAN IP from Cable Modem and ICF and ICS enabled
Microsoft Loopback adapter (beeing used as the device that assigns 192.168.0.xxx addresses to clients)

As far as the VPN goes, all works well, I can ping the Loopback adapter but can't get online as far as websites on client machines but I can browse network folders/shares. For some reason when setting up the VPN server to obtain ip automatically, it doesnt pull one from the Loopback adapter but I can still get network shares but can't ping loopback. If I statically assign the VPN server to give out a certain set of 192.168.0.xxx addresses than I can ping the loopback from the client machine but still no internet. I've tryed a few combos such as, no ICF and ICS, just ICS, etc. but never getting websites on client machines. Any ideas?

You need to configure the client as if it was part of the internal network, so make sure the IP for the default gateway is correct. I would try to get the VPN client to pull an IP from the router instead of the xp workstation. What is probably going on is you got nothing doing routing for the VPN client
