Hello..

I'm new in this board and I'm totally need your help !!...
I bought my computer almost 4 years ago, it's a Sony VAIO PC comes with Windows ME. Two years ago I had my uncle to reformat my computer into Windows 2000. But now I had virus in my computer (I have anti virus already), so I decided to reformat my computer again using what comes with the original computer (using Windows ME). My question is: 1. How do I do it?
2. I would like to upgrade from ME to XP, how I do it?

Backup all your data,.. stick the XP CD in the tray, reboot and let her rip. When asked if you want to upgrade or clean install, choose clean install. When asked if you want fat32 or ntfs for the hard drive, choose ntfs. Be sure to run service pack 1 and any other updates, and about 3 maybe 4 hours later you should be good to go.

Oh,.. make sure to download all your Vaio drivers first too. YOu should find the drivers per your Vaio model# on Sony Vaio's website (video, audio, modem, NIC, etc.).
