WordPerfect Presentation to PowerPoint Convertion

We are phasing out Wordperfect 8(Finally :thumbs: ) and are going to be using Office XP instead. Is there a way or third party utility to mass convert SHW files to PPT format?

There is currently no way to save a Corel Presentations 9 Show file in the Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 format. However, you can save a Corel Presentations 9 file in the Microsoft PowerPoint 95 format, and then open it in PowerPoint 2002.

NOTE: Some fidelity is lost between the two versions, due to the difference in the way the two programs handle objects and slides.


Of course, there is no garantee whatsoever that this will respect the original's look and feel.

I've seen a few third-party solutions out there, but you can expect to pay through the nose.
