[RESOLVED] modem string / practical peripherals

Can anyone help, I can't sign on to america on line with this modem, It wont intialize the modem, does anyone know whats wrong, I think i need another modem string. I have a practical peripherals 56k data fax

Get your ATi3 and ATi6 responses to find out what chipset you have. Then go <a href="http://www.56k.com"> here </a> to get the latest on your modem.

AOL tech support can't help you? They ususlly just throw a useless modem string at everybody and let another tech support take a tech support call later. I would suggest dump AOL, and go to Mindspring. That's what I did. Great tech support. In the meantime, try: AT&FX4&C1&D2&K3&Q5S95=1^M
