A friend of mine recently purchased an IBM 56k Modem Internet Kit modem part#42H4321.

It installed flawlessly & connected at around 54000bps consistantly with the stock drivers that shipped with the modem.

However he recently moved & we cannot find the original driver disk.

I did a search for the drivers & found what I thought were the right ones & they work but he's only connecting at 33600bps now.

He did get 54000bps at his new location with the original drivers so its not his phone lines or anything like that.
And we never had to use modem init strings either, we just installed the drivers "as is".

We didnt realize his driver disk was misplaced until he formatted his HDD & we went to reinstall the drivers.

Anyone know where to get these drivers?

Anybody have one of these modems & wouldnt mind taking some time to zip & e-mail them to me?

I would really appreciate any help here, I've been searching for awhile now for these original drivers.

Thanks.
