The modem used to connect at 53K, but something changed, and I don't know what is causing or caused this.
I've tried force commands: AT@F1, AT@F2, AT@F3 etc, the modem will not respond to strings and is not recognized by the system once string has been tried.
Performed the following changes:
Removed and reinstalled the modem.
(Hard reboot after removal)
Updated the driver.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Dial up Networking
Removed and reinstalled Dial Up Adapter.
Tested all phone lines for noise, and my other laptop connects to the same access numbers on the same lines at 53K.
ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS?
