Does anyone remember or can anyone find an official press release or statement by Microsoft where they stated they stopped official support for DOS?
I work the after hours support at a call center, and the upper tier has yet to get back to my group regarding this issue. We have a customer using an End of Life product in DOS environment. Now, i can help them out, but everything so far is pointing towards it being a DOS issue. I've escalated the issue, but in the mean time, the customer keeps contacting us. It's been years, ages, since my DOS class, and i'm not sure where else to go other then send them to the software vendor and MS, but they are saying that isnt an option because there is no longer support for DOS.
