Where did it come from - if it came from a production computer(Dell,Compaq etc..)the drivers are on a restore disk that came with the system.the modem was produced for them for their systems. I had a problem when i upgraded a compaq - when to tech support and had to prove ownership(a hand me down system)
in order to get them to send the drivers. bought a cheepo modem instead-you may try other 3com drivers and see if they work - good luck

Look for a model # on the modem and check it with the ones listed on the pionex site - i'm assuming its a 3com because of the S/N you gave - if not you can try and check the FCC# printed on the board with the FCCID Search thats available under the driver search on the Windrivers home page
I hope this helps - Good luck
