Well I think it is my video card because most off the times it works fine. But sometimes only when i'm playing games the game freeze's for a while and i can go on playing at the same speed, no troubles with that, but the graphics are all mixed up. (i tried to put a image with my thread so you can see what i mean)
Here are my specs
geforce fx5600 128 mb agp8x
pentium IV 3.0 GHz
asus p4p800
1022 mb ram
directx 9.0b
creative 6.1 sb audigy 2
(don't know if this is enough spec to help you help me..)
image didn't work if you don't understand what i mean with my problem just say so and i will try to get a picture from in game after the problem occured

Welcome to WD bordbonen.
First question is: the same game or multiple games?
Next: describe the "mix up".
Next: try a different nvidia driver (you're not overclocking the gpu, are you?).
Lastly: check inside the case for the temp of the video card. Touch the back, etc (be careful in there). Is it real hot?

the problem occurse with multiple games (farcry warcraft 3)
(my english isn't that good to discribe my troubles detailed, sorry for that) so with mixe up i mean al the dots in game get more square some points get wrong collors
I forget to tell that it;s only with games, when i go back to windows after the trouble occured everything is back to normal but when i go back to the game the problem is still there untill i restart my computer. Then the problem is gone and i can play the game normally until it starts all over again.
I will try to get some older drivers but i'm not overclocking my gpu
and allready thanks for youre reply

It seems that you are describing whats known as "artifacting" this is caused from either overheating, overclocking or just memory on the card being bad. Have you checked the temps of the card?

i was readin this thread and think it would be helpfull to know the vender of your card. since Nvidia has multi venders unlike ATI it just might boil down to you having a card that requires special drivers. what I mean about that is I had a Creative riva tnt that I had to have Creative drivers for and not Nvidia's drivers. try to download the drivers from the venders site or use the standard drivers that came with the card. also read the install manual it might have something in it that you are not doing when reinstalling the drivers.

I checked the tempature of my video card and it wasn't that hot, i also checked the temature of my comp in my BIOS where it said that the temp was around the 40 degrees C so i think thats oke.
the only thing i good find on my video card was this
XFX Geforce FX5600 128MB TV DVI AGP8X
so i think it's somethimg with the drivers. Becaus if something phisicaly would be wrong with the card it shoud also work bad whatever i'm doing and not just when i'm playing games, wouldn't it?

I agree with Radical Dreamer, if heat is not the problem then I too would suspect bad memory.
How long have you had the card? It may be possible the place you bought it would exchange it; if not then perhaps RMA it to PINE for you.

Mr Bord its your FX5600. nvidia now makes the FX5700 because of a glitch in the 5600. I have an Albatron FX5600 on a AMD2400+, asus m/b and my computer also locks up for a few moments and then the image goes all blocks. Rad Dream called it artifacting.
With my fx5600ep, while playing doom3 and unreal tourney my screen would lock for a second and then unfreeze ... BUT ... the game world would still be seen although with many SPARKLIES *****. The guns and power ups would be very blocky. I disabled all caheables in setup, video bios shadow, video ram cacheable, and set agp aperature to 64 mgs. fx5600 worked better BUT still same thing happened, only took longer. SO i got geforce_overclock from a google search. its very small and all it does is enable in the windows registry an utility already in the nvidia drivers. SO I COULD " LOWER " MY CLOCK SETTINGS BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE OVERHEATING.
run geforce_overclock
restart computer
click:
gfx icon on taskbar
adjust disply properties
advanced
geforce fx 5600 (or whatever)
clock frequencies (will show on left)
i set 2d to 266mhz core, 200mhz mem (400 DDR)
i set 3d to 315mhz core, 200mhz mem
(factory is 325mhz core, so i only lowered 10mhz)
I can now play unreal tourney w/o problems. I'll let you know about doom3. i don't know if your problem is heat but this is only way to lower heat. i tried 3 xtra fans 1st, but the fans did not stop problem.
