I recently bought a Radeon 9600 128mb video card online.
It arrived out of box and one of the little cylindrical black transistors had been partially dislodged from the board. There are two little aluminum pieces under it connecting it to the board and it had rised up on one of the pieces (you could see twice as much of the metal strap on on side than the other).
I pushed the side of the transistor back down onto the board so that it was even (how it should be).
I wonder, will this cause the card to malfunction? I have yet to get memory or a proc for the computer, so i can't test it yet... I just wonder if this kind of dislodging of a little transistor will affect it at all. The thing's still attached well and has a solid connection...
Thanks for any input!!
