got a new sbs2k3 server up and running everything converted fine except our win98 machine, login and everythign works and it can see other computers the trouble is that it constantly now has a Illegal Exception fault that pops up "Hbsrv" ever since the upgrade, and on all internet browsers and windows explorer windows it says "finishing installation" which i am assuming has to do w/ the client software sent down from sbs2k3 since its a win98 machine, yet its been finishing installation for a few days now... anyone have any idea how to finally finsih that installation or get rid of the "hbsrv" error???

Frizat,

"Hbsrv" usually refers the "Hotbar" toolbar being installed, and it can definitely screw-up your Internet Explorer.

There should be an Add/Remove Programs instance to allow you to uninstall it, or just get Ad-Aware 6.0, update the Ref file in it, and scan away for crap ike that.

Let us know how you make out.
