I've got a new AD server running Active Directory. What Happens is that the screen showing "Running Logoff Scripts" shows for at least 3 minutes after the person shuts down or logs off. I do not have a group policy enabled, but a logon scripts that just maps 2 drives. What could be the problem?

I have the same problem, but possibly have identified that Symantec AntiVirus Corp. Ed. may have something to do with it. Are you running any type of program like that?

The post you replied to is over 3 years old...
Have you checked it's not just a stuck profile?
Have a look at this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/837115) and give UPHClean a whirl.

Better late than never I guess. However it did remind me of something that maybe I should address in another post.
