Can someone please help me.

Every time I am browsing in IE, and an Adobe Acrobat window pops up so I can print a quote, (very common in my business) when I close that window I get the following error message:

//////
iexplore.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x05e8f5cb" referenced memory at "0x00000000".
The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
//////

I've tried to uninstall, then reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader with all of the updates. I've installed IE Service Pack S1a, I've tried doing a virus scan, and nothing seems to help.

Sounds like your browser helper object has got screwed up and reinstalling is not resetting it.

use this to remove the bho and then reinstall (http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads/bhod/)

I downloaded BHO Demon, and disabled the .dll file associated with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Opened up Adobe and tried to use it, and it still did not work, was i supposed to reinstall adobe completely?

OK....I disabled the BHO, then I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader, and all the rest of my Adobe products. I reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader and re-enabled the BHO, yet still everytime I close an Acrobat Reader window it causes that error and shuts down every IE window I have open. I've restarted after every step, I'm just not quite sure what to try next...

Any Suggestions???

Ahh. My thinking is that the dll in the bho is corrupt. You don't want bhodaemon to reenable it. Reinstalling acrobat should put a clean copy of the dll back.

Do you get a request to send an error report to ms?

I used to have similar problem with Win95 Acrobat 4.0. The only effective remedy at that time was to use cntl-alt-del and end task. I do not know if this applies in your case, but worth trying it.
