Problems when I was installing Norton

Hi...

I had problems when I was installing my Norton 2004 anti-virus and the installation didnt complete sucessfull and now I want reinstall to make it work but when I run the installation it says that I have to uninstall my previous installation but it dont appear on the Add/Remove programas pane... and there is no uninstall.exe in the Norton Folder... what can I do to reinstall my anti-virus ? I have tryed the safe-mode but didnt work.
