OK I know how to do a regular screen shot by typing Print Screen or Alt+Print Screen for regular open windows on the desktop, but what about taking a screen shot of the Windows Security Box that comes up after you hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete? The box that let’s you lock your computer and change your password.

spot the clue ;)No...What’s your point? I can easily do a google image search and find these same pictures. but how did they originate? Isn't it just a matter of a few key strokes?

The second picture has not been cropped the same way as the first....
You remote into the pc for which you want the shutdown/startup screen shot and do an alt prtscrn from there, then crop the pic.

Essentially putting the egg before the chicken... :p I like you're solution...not the most desirable for some, but I like it!

Here's a solution: Once you're at the desired screen, lay your monitor face down on your scanner. Scan the screen, then crop it and post it. :eek2:

Or if that doesn't work,.. just hold up a peice of paper to the screen and trace the image with a pencil. You can then scan in the penciled imaged and color it in using software such as photoshop. No one will ever know the difference.

I did an Image search and found a bunch of them. How did they originate? Someone had to of made them somehow.
