I'm having some problems installing this printer-scanner-copier....
When the setup program reaches the System Requirements checking, it gives me errors at:
Operating System and USB.
I'm using Windows 2000 Pro. SP3
It shows another error message, it sais:
usbready.exe has generated errors and...

How can I fix it?

Welcome to WD Aleperez .

Has other USB devices worked before ?

Its possible you may only need upDated drivers ,
so can you tell us what PC you have : is it a DELL or Gateway and Model number ,
or if built by someone ; Motherboard Brand and model and all that .

You can find Win2000 drivers & downloads for your HP PSC 1210 All-in-One here. (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?product=90764&tool=softwareCategory&dlc=en&lc=en&dest_page=softwareCategory&cc=us&os=181) Looks like fairly recent updates.

You might also want to check out An Error Message Appears on the Computer While Installing the Software in Windows (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?product=90764&tool=softwareCategory&dlc=en&os=181&lc=en&dest_page=softwareCategory&cc=us&docname=c00005478) Hmmm...looks like your particular error message is not listed.

You might want to read up on Resolving Installation Problems for USB Connected All-in-One Products in Windows (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?product=90764&tool=softwareCategory&dlc=en&os=181&lc=en&dest_page=softwareCategory&cc=us&docname=bpu01858)

You might need to completely Uninstall the previous attempt and then re-installing same. Uninstalling the HP All-in-One Software (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=c00072896&product=90764&dlc=en&lang=en)

Or, Installing and Uninstalling the HP PSC 1100 and 1200 All-in-One Series Software in Microsoft(R) Windows (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?product=90764&tool=softwareCategory&dlc=en&os=181&lc=en&dest_page=softwareCategory&cc=us&docname=bpu00694)

Most USB devices require for the drivers to be installed before physically connecting the device. NOTE: Do not connect the all-in-one to the computer until directed to do so by the installation software.

Lastly, Setup Posters & Reference Guides. (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?product=90764&tool=softwareCategory&dlc=en&docname=bpu00694&os=181&lc=en&dest_page=softwareCategory&cc=us&)

Good Luck!

when you had the error, did the software installation roll back?
