Fox accused of stealing shows.

NBC and ABC have accused Fox of stealing their ideas, and Fox has fired back, saying it's just part of the game. The networks are not happy that Fox's new fall line-up includes many of their ideas, and similar shows to those they have not even aired yet.


Byt the way there is no truth to the rumor the Fox defense will be "Freedom to innovate".

& the effect for viewers is what ? that they have to press another button to see their favourite 'drivel' ? - there must be a point to this - however it currently elludes me, other than some shareholder somewheres getting upset as he sees his stocks falling as the guys who had their ideas stolen last time, now turn the tables & steal the ideas instead ..

I forgot to mention that there is a new Fox show so totally repulsive there should be a law against it (and I think there is).
It's the one where ten families switch mothers. I don't recall the name but I see it advertised on Fox. These are families with young children. How can anyone think this won't affect the children? I think its child abuse. Do ya think its possible some of these kids think their moms don't love them because they left? And some strange woman who Daddy doesn't sleep with comes into their home and is in charge of them. Then Mommy comes back?
Its the STUPIDEST idea I ever heard of.

Keep an eye out for The Surreal Life. I think it's on VH-1, it's a great show. I'm sure it was ripped off of one or another of those reality shows, hard to say which one tho.

most TV lately has been disapointing anyways... reality shows have been mind numbingly stupid... the best show I've seen out lately has been Arrested Developement... absolutely hilarious! I'm looking forward to more episodes of Family Guy coming out too

There's two of them. One on Fox and one on NBC I think, that are bascially the same idea. I think one of them is called Trading Spouses and the other one is something about Wife Swapping.

We have that show over here, it's called "wife swap". It features some of the most stupid, thick, repulsive and arrogant people that society has to offer. After watching a single episode I vowed never to watch it again, mainly due to the fact that it was an hour of people shouting at each other. However, it has become a hit show which just goes to show how many brain dead morons we have in the UK watching TV shows like this!

I think people watch these shows to feel better about themselves, since thay are not as bad as the idiots on tv. I think the simpsons were right on about this topic in one of the episodes.
