i reinstalled Win XP Home and then i couldnot install monitor driver (Samsung SyncMAster 753DF) - the messenge i received from Win XP is:
error occur, while installing monitor adaptor (errorcode 259)
can anyone help me?

How are you try'ing to install it ?
just running the install'er program or ?

i just run the installer :(

i think it may relate to the display adapter, but iam not sure

Relate to the display adapter neik? How so? Do you have a display problem? Describe it and we can help. Usually you don't need to install a monitor driver, except for
"refresh rates". So, what is your display problem?

What is the name of the driver you are installing and where did you get it from?

259 seems to be a catch all for incomplete or corrupt files.

fortunally i have my computer fixed now! my friend who fixed it said that some thing called "Intel 82845G Graphics Controller" is missing.
he downloaded it here:
