Greetings all,
I just moved from NAV 2004 to AVG 7.0, which is really nice. I set up AVG 6.0 & 7.0 for Outlook & OE and it scanned e-mail attachments just fine. However, with Eudora 5.1 and AVG 7.0 the e-mail scanner will not work! :(
I have the Eudora plug-in and I have it set to scan incoming & outgoing e-mail. I have no funky setting with my e-mail and I don't care about the AVG certification tag line... its the scanning that it is not doing!
I tested it with the eicar.zip virus test file and it passed by AVG without a second glance. What caught my attention on how it wasn't working was when a REAL virus inside a zip file made it through earlier today. I would have not opened it regardless but I would prefer it to be caught before I even see it...
Any tips on where I should start looking for problems? It is not working on both my Dell laptop and my custom built desktop. Both XP SP1 PRO.
Thanks as always! :)
