Multimedia Audio Controller problem

I just upgraded from Win ME to W2K SP4 and have had a number of problems that I am slowly working through! The latest issue is the MAC - no driver. I checked on MS Update - no good. Is there somewhere else I can look? And what info do have to provide to get help? Mother board? Sound card?
Any help much appreciated.
