How do I remove "All" audio related drivers from my system?

I have had nothing but problems with the on board sound performing with Nascar Racing Series game. Multiplayer & Player only modes. ASUS, NVidia, Realtec etc have all advised me install so many drivers that I feel it has gotten worse over time and I feel the drivers have been installed over each other. I just want to put the onboard sound back to original out of box state and install the lastest, newest & greatest unified driver from NVidia that is sopposed to take care of the problem.

My board as you can see below is a ASUS A7N8X DELUXE Rev 2.0

quickest would be to turn off system restore then go into device manager and in the properties for the drivers should be a list of files it uses...make a note of them. Then uninstall anything to do with audio in add/remove programs, shut down, go into bios and turn off onboard audio. Reboot and go find the registry entries for the file names you noted earlier, export them (just in case) and delete them. Next go on a search and rename mission for the file names with explorer. Reboot a couple or three times to ensure that you haven't left anything dangling and then start again.

1. Are we talking about files noted in the sound, video and game controllers related to anything with audio mentioned? My sound video manager looks like this:Which ones?

Sound, video and game controllers
*Audio Codecs
*Legacy Audio Drivers
*Legacy Video Capture Devices
*Media Control Devices
*MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device
*NVidia(R) nforce(TM) MCP Audio Processing Unit (Dolby(R) Digital)
*Realtek AC 97 Audio
*Standard Gameport
*Video Codecs

2. Where and how do I get to the registry to export and delete?

3. In the search and rename mission; what file names am I looking for? The ones I noted in properties of device manager?

Thanks.

leave the codecs alone, they are a real pain to install again!

Personally I would only do the realtek ac97,the midi and legacy audio drivers.
