norton antivirus problems

after i am finishing installing norton antivirus it goes to the basic restart your computer like most programs do after you install them but when i start up my computer again it says ''you have to restart your computer in order to run norton antivirus'' after the first restart. i restarted again and still the same thing happend.

can you uninstall it from Add/Remove programs in the control panel?

if not there are instructions on Symantec's site about how to manually remove it depending on what version you have.

you can go here and select your version and then search on the term "manual uninstall"

then try reinstalling
