Perhaps you could also help out, I'm trying to find out the model of what I think is a Camaro 55, it's featured in the film "Better Off Dead" starring John Cusack...
It's black, mean, sounds lovely and I'd almost consider trading my 68 Charger for one (1:18 scale model of course).
If you need anymore info... I don't have it! It's just I don't know a lot about model names/numbers and searching through the images and webpages not really knowing what I'm looking for is taking a lot of my WOTPP time...
If you can help me out with my curiousity I promise to call off the invasion, especially as the Swedish Bikini team arrived today :thumbs2:
Now why didn't I think of combining the search requests? Cheers dude! :thumbs2: :) :) :) :)

I do have some pics of the dragster (before I tore the nose up  ), but I do not have a place to put em up. I know a pic is going to go up on the paint shops site, but I was not able to get a racing pic for them before i hurt it. I can email them if ya want.
As to the Camaro, I will have to check out the movie you are talking about. I do not know of a Camaro 55 (they were not made until '67, and I have not heard of that designation). I will have to do some digging and see what type of car it was. See, and my momma said that being a car guy was a waste of time and I would never make anything of myself. Well, I am gonna have to show her this thread.
Look ma, I am stopping a war because of my love of cars! :thumbs2:

Yeah I was just looking at your post again, and I realized you meant SS and not 55. My uncle has an original "68 Z28 Camaro that he is the only owner of. He still has the original engine and trans in the raftors for when he wants to convert it back form a race car.
Here is some info from a 67 camaro SS. Enjoy.

Thanking you again! Lots of info, it is a really good looking motor.... Another reason why I should live in America, I'd have a fleet of muscle cars.
I'd have a 68 Charger, Camaro SS350, Shelby Mustang, Dodge Viper and a Dodge Challenger. These would be the weekday vehicles, as for the weekend well I guess I'd just need a couple of suggestions on what to have! :thumbs2:
Make them big, noisy and thirsty and no I don't want your cousins from out of state

Dude, do you know how much you would need to have in cash to have those cars?
If you are a mopar fan, you would have fun here. I have a friend of the family that has an all ordiginal Superbird with less than 10,000 miles on it. He rents a hanger at the local Airport to store it!

Cash is no problem, I'll rob a bank before I come over. That superbird is awesome...
