help! on my windows media player

My windows media player can not play CD now. everytime i opened an CD disk, it can show the CD information but it will just skip each song in the list and does not play and music.
I don't know if that is because of my sound card driver.
But actually, I can use other media player like winamp or powerDVD to play the CD!!
That is so weird!
Can anybody help me with this?

P.S. I am running on WinXP Home SP1 and Windows Media player 10

Try un-installing and than re-install the app. Try it from windows up-date site after you uninstall it.
