ME Defrag

Have a client's pc in front of me I can't get to scandisk or defrag. It gets up to about 15% and then starts over again and I am running in safe mode. I have run adaware, spybot, The Cleaner, and virus scan to make sure it is clean. I have checked for any programs running in the background. "Nothing." I know it is ME :guns: (Many Errors), but I should be able to get it to run. Any ideas before I :flame: to this blasted thing? Thanks!!!

Thanks TechZ, got it defragged with Disk Lite but only way to scandisk was thrpough a DOS prompt. Cheers
