Ok here is the basics of what i am trying to do.
I have a sound blaster 5.1 and I am trying to get the audio that I have going into the line-in port come out my speakers at the same time. I am tired of recording radio shows while I am at work on the VCR and want to do this on the PC.
Is this possible or am I once again trying to do the impossible?

System specs:

PIII 1.4
512 DRR PC 2100
Sound blaster live 5.1
Intel NIC
ATI Radeon 7500
DVROM
CDRW

Need to know the Os you are using, (98se, win2k, or winXP)

It can be done, if you know where to look, "double click" on the speaker in the sys tray, properties, and check the "line-in" box under play-back and than record, "click ok" and you should see line-in on the volume control. At least in the Os's above. you might find a lot of options in the properties box..

Manual for LIVE 5.1 here, in PDF format (http://files.americas.creative.com/manualdn/Manuals/790/English.pdf)

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
I had been missing the record feature all this time.
I was under the impression that one had to just click the line-in box and all would be well.

Thanks again.
