I thought the hurricanes picked it up and dropped it off up there. :) TripleRLtd October 3rd, 2004, 12:42 PM No way is Florida moving to the upper midwest. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/eek3.gif This one is more like it, and I mentioned it before: http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/Hurricanes/images/parker9.gif TripleRLtd October 3rd, 2004, 12:55 PM Or this (but this one may be from pipe I've just begun smokin again. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/wink.gif) http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/Hurricanes/images/donwright47.gif TripleRLtd October 3rd, 2004, 12:56 PM Like a sore .... http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/Hurricanes/images/streeter.gif TripleRLtd October 3rd, 2004, 12:58 PM this one is from the local rag: http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/Hurricanes/images/macgregor44.jpg TripleRLtd October 3rd, 2004, 01:00 PM Now this is "constuctive" (or is it destructive?) post padding.http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/Hurricanes/images/arial.gif TripleRLtd October 3rd, 2004, 01:00 PM Alright? Had enough, yet? http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/Hurricanes/images/morin.gif thirdfey October 3rd, 2004, 08:23 PM Alright? Had enough, yet? http://cagle.slate.msn.com/news/Hurricanes/images/morin.gif That's just terrible. How crappy an illustrator do you have to be to not be able to depict Florida as a punching bag but instead have to tell the reader/viewer that it is a punching bag. That's like telling a joke and having to explain the punchline so the people you are telling it to can "get" it. Lowest I ever remember here was 28f, and that was just for a few hours. TripleRLtd October 3rd, 2004, 11:59 PM Uhm, the first winter would depopulate the state. Check out the temps up north right now. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif BTW: It's cool to joke about yourself or your state every now and then jae. Lighten up man. Hey, join the fun. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/thumbs.gif When most of them are freezin' their collective butt's off in a month or so, they will think about down here and probably take a chance on a hurricane or ten themselves. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Ya_know October 4th, 2004, 12:21 AM http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/thumbs.gif Indeed. You know: insect spray. Besides, in the winter when most everyone else is freezin their butts off, we don't have a mosquito problem. Mosquitos have there own season, which roughly equates to hurricane season. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/eek3.gif Besides, living in Texas you should know all this. Pretty nice in Tx in the winter, too. At least the southern part of Texas. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/thumbs.gif Camaro80z October 4th, 2004, 04:08 PM Shorts on Christmas...when the winds are blowing, and the trees are uprooting all around...I think of wearing shorts at Christmas... My family spent christmas at Disneyworld a few years ago. Wearing shorts while hearing "Silent Night" played over the speakers fely unholy and wrong! :( FatalException0E October 4th, 2004, 11:15 PM Nah, for that we have what's called around here: Pine Island perfume. If I forget the outdoors perfume I come away looking like I've got chicken pox. We've also had a real mild summer this year. Its only been over 100 a couple of days. Of course, its still in the mid to high 90s all the time. Last winter we actually had snow....In San Antonio....SNOW!? I was warming up the car and getting the windows defrosted when my GF convinced me it was 'too dangerous to drive home' (I do keep summer tires on my car year-round) so I had to stay the night. Not a terrible problem. TripleRLtd October 4th, 2004, 11:21 PM Right. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/thumbs.gif (http://forums.windrivers.com/misc.php?do=getsmilies#) You probably know that I was in the AF so you know I had to have been there. But, I bet you never knew that for ten years I wanted/planned on going back to San Anton to spend the rest of my life. What a beautiful place that I'll never forget. Imagine: I moved to another beautiful place where I live now, but if I had moved there, at least I wouldn't have had to worry about hurricanes. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/eek3.gif (http://forums.windrivers.com/misc.php?do=getsmilies#) But, I don't know if even Texas is big enough for teh Cleete and me? http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif windrivers.com
