Call me old fashioned, but I am still a firm believer in the 45. I'll take the knock-down power of the trusty 45 over the penetration of a 9 any day, especially if you load up with Hyrdo-shocks. My favorite mix is alternating ball ammo with Hydro-shocks, so I have the optimum load at least 50% of the time. When I score a hit, I want them to fall down, not just punch a hole through them. http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/sagrin.gif

I'm in Denver all this week, working and looking for a temporary apartment to move into Nov 1st. After that I'll look for a house, but real estate is mucho expensive here, almost 3-4x the price of houses in El Paso. Its great to see snow covered mountains out your office window, I think I'm going to enjoy it here.

Whereabouts is the office? I worked down in the Denver Tech Center for 4 years and lived downtown. House prices are the only reason we actually left Denver - it's a great city with tons to do and yes, the mountains are great

He can, he just needs permits to do so in any country he takes it to if he's from PA like I think. In Philly it was actually really easy to get a permit to carry for some time until they started cracking down on it.

don't blame ya there squid, I have a .357 too that I love due to raw power, but it's too damn big to carry. - this 9 is a very small gun, and real easily concealed. I love 45's

Actually, yeah, I am from PA - central PA, and permits to carry are not hard to get here at all.

I used to make some trips to Philly in my youth (if ya_know what I mean), and I can see why handgun permits are easy to get down there.
