Hi, this first time aking for advice and help on here, but read your threads daily.
I have a SMC7004AWBR wireless router that has a printer hookup on it so it can be used as a print server. I got the wireless networking part working fine, but when I hook printer to it (Epson Photo 820) via paralell hook up, the router shows it is connected, but I can;t figure out how to get me Laptops to print to it. I have installed all drivers for the printer and updates the firmware for the router. I am running 2 HP Pavillion XE4400 laptops, with XP SP2 and all patches installed. I know how to access the router setup to check that the printer sows connected, which it does. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I called SMC the said they would email me instructions on how to set it up, said within an hour, been a week still no email from them.
