Well its all a matter of opinion
TweakNow Powerpack 2005 is a good little proggy that will let you clean the drives,clean registry and startup folders.

Executive Software Diskeeper is a v good Defrag programme.

Antivirus - Panda is cheap and effective and is becoming a market leader.

Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE and Spybot Search & Destroy are free and would probaly meet your needs for spyware removal.

For general maintenance and diagnostics, I use Ontrack System Suite. It also has firewall and anti virus.

Fdisk works pretty good :D .. nothing to beat a nice clean install performance wise ;) - used in conjunction with that old chestnut backup its a wonder ! :eek2:
