Attempted to install Windows98 on an outdated comp. (2gb hard disk, 35kb ram) It's an HP .After the first failed attempt I was able to erase the HD with the 98 cd but now that I'm trying to reinstall the 98 I can't erase the volume info because it comes up as characters that I can't input . Any Help would be gratly appreciated http://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/sad2.gifhttp://forums.windrivers.com/images/smilies/sad2.gif

Hopefully you meant 32mb not 35kb (or maybe it is 35mb)
Anywho try the zap as suggested but if you have a 98 boot disk I'd start from there.
www.bootdisk.com has downloads if you don't have one.
