Please Help

I am TOTALLY computer STUPID!!!
I was having problems with my computer so i erased the hard drive and reinstalled win 98 se. Now my computer is slower than a snail. Is there anything I can do to fix this? And again I am sorry but if anyone replies please remember that i need exact step by step. I am a total blonde airhead. But at least I am honest!

Unfortunately its likely all the drivers that you are missing.
What kind of computer?
What model?
What make?

as Ferrit stated we need the details. I advice you to use a computer hardware inventar application. I recommend on HWINFO.

:) Hi did you erase or format hard drive before reinstall of windows?
You may need to run system file check to see if any windows files are missing.

newer version of the suggested proggy http://www.snapfiles.com/get/everest.html d/load this , and it will provide info , on your m/board and all the extra cards installed, come back with the m/board model , and we will locate drivers
