I had to re-install my XP clean. All updates are taken care off including ps2. It was running fine. This afternoon I got a couple of junk email like it happens all the time. I delete them on the spot without opening them. Later in the evening I checked my email and on exit I got this message in a box entitled Outlook Express:

To free up disk space, Outlook Express can compact messages. This may take up to a few minutes.
A check radio with the words: Don't show me this again.
One button OK, another button Cancel

(I couldn't insert the picture here.)

Of course I did not click OK. I clicked the X button at the right top to close the box. But that message has kept repeating every time I check the email. Anything you know about it? How to get rid of it?

I have XP home edition, I do regular maintenance including compacting the email folders quite regularly.

A wild stab in the dark but maybe check the box "Don't show me this again."
