likes to cuddle and play. We sure are having fun at night (not), we are debating whether to leave him in the basement during the night. We need sleep!

Hot water bottle or old mechnaical alarm clock wrapped in a blanket in his basket should help if hes feeling lonely at night.

EDIT sorry towel not blanket

The cat and dog have taken to sleeping in front of my computer desk. Its the warmest place in the house, and they seem to like the constant hum of all those fans.

That's particularly annoying when the cat is sleeping there, because his claws are well-honed and go straight through socks.

Speaking of mean kitties......

The neighbor's dalmation got out of their back yard and couldn't get back in to it, so was wandering around in front of the house. It barked at my mom when she was walking in front of their house. The cat witnessed this. So for the rest of the day while she was outside, the cat followed her......in case he had to protect her from that dog.
