Don't know anything about Daytona, but there are a number of manufacturers offering the card, including msi and giga-byte. I've been thinking of getting one myself, but wanted to wait until the supply ramps up and prices stabilize. Here's a review: http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20041119/index.html
The other comment I have seen is that the fan is very loud.

Daytona is one of the numerous "no name" brands which use either ATI or Nvidia chips. In the US, many wholesalers (including my own) sell them.
I think you should be aware of where you are buying it from. In other words, if it is bad, can you get a replacement?

RAther get a good name like Asus/GByte, and the many other reputed sellers for these card.

The worst are the Ati ones, they look exactly like the reference design cards cause ATI dont want nobody changing anything. at least nvidia allow some variety.

Gigabyte GeForce 6600 GT (GV-NX66T128D)
Gigabyte's hardware solution does not break away from the norm at all (http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=740&pageID=1241), like their 6800 board does with its completely passive cooling solution, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It allows Gigabyte to price this board vey competitively, even though two recently released (and good) games are included in the package.
