Here is the deal.

-I had 2 vid cards running, one on pci and one on agp. Both nvidia; 5200 and 5900. I had three displays running off these two cards, one display attached to the 5900 2 attached to the 5700. Worked fine.

-Upgraded cards from 5900 to 6800. Kept the 5200 in place. Had to uninstall drivers before switching cards then reinstall the drivers from CD.

-Now when i try to activate a monitor on the 5200 pci card, the system freezes and reboots. Then upon loading windows i get all kinds of critical errors regarding the driver for the cards. I have to either disable the PCI card in safe mode and the sys will run fine, or uninstall the driver set and reinstall it over again. But the system will boot fine when the drivers are installed, just wont let me enable a monitor on the pci card.

-BFG tech support doesnt give any aid to this, who would have thought that?!! I have tried installing the cards separatley (install 68 first then shutdown, insert 5200, reboot, etc) Have also tried installing the cards with updated nvidia drivers. Nothing seems to work. One tech mentioned they dont do multi card support because of I/O conflicts...which im not sure what that means. (probably the root of my problem though i dont know how to fix that)

Any advice on this? Or a better place to ask the question? Thanks in advance.

Ouu Got it! I had to grab an older nivida driver and reinstall everything. Seems the latest nivida drivers were causing the problem, which sucks cause i may never be able to udpate them.

for better drivers you should look into Omega drivers. They offer great performance drivers for nVidia & ATI.
