internet explorer

i have a winxp and my i.e doesn't open, the process is on but the window isn't open, how do i fix that? i am currently using msn explorer

xshrimp, this is usually due to spyware or viruses. read this thread (http://forums.windrivers.com/showthread.php?t=57348) and carry out the recommendations. Once you have confirmed your computer is clean, IE should sort itself out. If it doesn't, post again.
