im wondering if anyone can help me out... the color is messed up on my computer, i cant see any red.. everything that should be red, is black.. its not the monitor, i tested it on another computer and its fine, and also tried a different monitor on this one.. with both monitors i had the same problem.. my video card is a radeon 9200 series, i did all the updates for it, and played with all the color controls, and still the red isnt showing. is it possible my video card is damaged, or am i just missing something totally obvious here?? any suggestions would help.. thanks.

Welcome to windrivers forums melissac187.
On what you've said so far, it would indeed appear that your video card is the culprit, however we are running it in windows pressumably (as you don't say which o/s) & any level of 'strangeness' is possible with that ! :eek2:
If this is 9x try starting in safe mode & see if there's a difference, & if its xp/w2k try starting in what it calls 'VGA mode' (both generally available as choices from a startup menu if you press 'f8' like mad as your pc posts }goes beep}), this will give us the 'cleanist windows environment' we can (drivers for your video card could be possible culprits & by doing this we hopefully tell windows not to use a unique video driver for the card, but to use a 'standard one' with only limited functionality, therefore eliminating issues with that software wise)
