ok well here is my problem i have a cd i am trying to use and my dvd/cdrw reads it and says its there but if i click on it my computer usally locks up till i eject it then my computer returns to normal but i know its not the cd cos i used it on my friends computer and it worked fine so i was hoping someone here would be able to help thanks in advance

First of all lost hero, can you provide more information:

What make of cd is it? Does it show any scratches? Is it a cdrw or a cdr?

What windows are you using?

In device manager, are there any ! showing against any devices?

Is it just this one cd?
