I am working on a HP5SI on a network and when the user prints a job that should be in landscape, the job prints portrait. He is the only one this happens to and if he uses another network printer it does not happen. I checked all the print settings and even forced everything to print landscape and reinstalled the drivers with no effect.

Hi,
You didn't mention which OS you're using, but just for grins, you might try the link below to check for the latest drivers:
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/lj5si_swen.html
Also, follow the link below...it lists several pages of common problems...I didn't find your particular problem listed but maybe you can...

Anyway, hope this helps you out...Good Luck!

It's usually a bug in the driver. I swear that HP's drivers have more bugs than an anthill. I've got an HP5000 LaserJet that absolutely refuses to print envelopes correctly, no matter what. Under NT4 it worked great...under W2K, no go...I even have their latest driver...bah! humbug!! http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smilies/cwm23.gif

HP notified me this week about the latest drivers for the 5si and pointed me to http://www.hp.com/cposupport/printers/software/lj371en.exe.html
Hope this helps.
