Mass Storage Problem

Hi All!

I have an external Hard drive "Storecase Rhino Jr." & I am receiving a (Code 10) when I attached it to my PC.

Some important info:

I am running Windows XP

The portable hard drive has an external power supply

I have tried uninstalling my USB's and rebooting to let the PC identify them and install them.


Please Help!!!!

A little more info is now required so we can help. What version of XP are you running (service pack level)? What is the size of the hard drive? And, do you know the model of your mainboard and which chipset it is running?

The potable harddrive is a Seagate ST380020A 80GB

I am unsure of my main board & chip set; does this help?
