i had the cws (coolwebsearch) about blank virus, after that battle i have no sound. i have re installed via ac'97 audio controller, i have all my audio controls, just no sound, also i cannot find any audio device in my bios
bios ver. insyde software mobile pro ver 3.00.03
i installed via hyperion v456. i could not find the via snd crd update
i'll prolly b up til i fix this ,thnks in advance for n e hlp

You can find WinXP drivers for your Pavilion Notebook here. (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?lc=en&lang=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=81295&os=228) Nothing for Audio but there is BIOS version 1.10 available.
