I have a network with 3 units. One is dual booting between 98 and W2K Server. The other two simply run 98 with plans to be upgraded to W2K Pro. I DID have these 2 computers printing to an HP 722C connected to the unit running W2K Server but I had to reformat the partition W2K Server was on and for some reason I cannot get these other two to print.

Each time I try to "Add a Printer" browse to the printer connected to my server, and click on it, I am prompted for the 98 CD which does not contain this model number in the list. Seems as though when I did succesfully add the printer at first, I used the supplied disk which has drivers for 95, 98, and NT 4.0 and everything went smoothly. I really have a brain cramp on this one.

Any help would be appreciated and Thank You!

Yes you did use the supplied disk the first time you installed them.

Run the Add Printer Wizard. When you get to the screen that has the printers listed. Choose "Have Disk" then point it to your supplied disk.

Else you could run the printer install that's on your supplied disks. Either way so get you back up and printing.

Thanks for the help. I just used the supplied disk, let it install the software, and went from there. Did not use the "Add Printer" option. During installation it said no printer could be found on any of the ports {obviously} and I added a new port, \\farrar\hp722c. Works fine now.

Thanks for the help.

Glad I could help. After all that's what we're all here for. It might be me next time around. http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum/smile.gif
