About two weeks ago, I had a lot of spyware and malware on my computer. I have since installed AVG Anti-Virus and Microsoft Anti-Spyware. So, I no longer have spyware or malware, I have also been scannning daily for viruses. So, far the program is not finding any viruses also.
At the present time I am not receiving any kind of sound from my computer. Not even from the CD-RW drive. I have tried uninstalling the sound devices from my computer. After, I restart, the computer finds the hardware and reinstalls it and all is good, UNTIL, I turn off my computer at the end of the day. When I go to turn my computer on the audio devices are disabled again. Please help. I need someone's help!! :)

Well first off MS spyware isnt a complete solution.
I would advise Adaware,Spybot and Counterspy to be thouroughly positive its clean of spyware.
Also unfortunately free avg isnt really good either hence why its free
You should do an online scan with
www.trendmicro.com
www.pandasoftware.com/activescan
www.commandondemand.com

Also we need to know
What windows?
What type and model of computer and
what sound card?

Try using Everest Home Edition: http://www.lavalys.com/products/overview.php?pid=1&lang=en

It should tell you what motherboard you have, and some other info as to Sound card (if any), etc.

Give us the exact Brand/Model Number of the Motherboard, Sound Card.

..and all is good, UNTIL, I turn off my computer ..

btw xSiCkGiRlx has another thread open about how to update bios ..

Soooo-ooo .. my answer to 'both' is to go here @ dell support (http://support.euro.dell.com/uk/en/filelib/index.aspx?sid=PLX_PNT_PII_GXa), & start by grabbing an updated bios & following the instructions on Dell's site about how to install what it calls 'flashBIOS Updates' , & I hope you'll find once that is applied that it should then work as expected :).
