I meant is it a dell, gateway...etc. but the motherboard name is even more precise. Try shamus' link too..... ashy99 June 15th, 2005, 01:13 AM Motherboard Name : MSI 845 Pro4 (MS-6391) Motherboard Manufacturer Company Name : Micro-Star International Platypus June 15th, 2005, 06:41 AM Unfortunately MSI have a habit of applying the same number to different boards, MS-6391 shows up as an OEM for Siemens with Via chipset, but as yours really seems to be an Intel based 845 Pro4, drivers should be here: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/download/dld/spt_dld_detail.php?UID=33&kind=1 ashy99 June 16th, 2005, 01:06 AM The sound drivers given on the web page do not support MS-6391 Platypus June 16th, 2005, 01:33 AM Have you tried them? If you're going by the list of model numbers on the download page, it may not be that they are the only models the file will support. If your board is an 845 Pro4 MS-6391: http://www.msicomputer.com/product/detail_spec/845pro4.htm (maybe without the L (lan) designation) then it should have: "ADI 1885 (AC'97 compliant, 2 channel audio). " The sound drivers on that page are: "ADI 188x Sound Drivers" windrivers.com
