media player + IE question

Sometimes when i do to watch a movie online i click the link and QT plays the video but i want Media player to play all my online videos. I saved one to the deaktop and said play all this types for MP but it still loads QT up when i click the hyperlink on the web page how can i stop this ?

Open Windows Media Player.......locate the "tools", select "Options" and click on the "file types" and select all.

If youre using Windows Media Player, it cannot play QT files.
