Divx 726 Mb Movie Won't Load

I downloaded<insert pirate movie here>726mb, and no mattar what I do the movie won't load. Anyway, I have all the latest codecs, DIVX player software, and hardware, 2.4 ghz processor, 2g ddram. There is something strange however, I can't find my system32 folder in windows. There are references to it in the registry but it appears to be controlled by a program. Maybe it's the way I set my virus checker, delete the file if virus found.
Anybody have any suggestions?
